Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Packer to join our production team. In this role, you will be responsible for packing components for storage or shipment in accordance with established specifications and quality standards. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity offering steady hours and the potential for long-term placement.

Key Responsibilities

Pack wrapped or packaged products into shipping containers according to specifications
Seal, glue, nail, label, and/or band shipping containers to ensure proper closure and identification
Assemble shipping containers, including boxes, crates, and cartons
Perform visual and mechanical inspections and maintain inspection logs
Report quality issues to the Production Supervisor as needed
Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools and equipment
Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

No formal education required
0-1 year of manufacturing or production experience preferred, but not required
Willingness to learn through on-the-job training


Work Environment & Physical Requirements

Ability to sit or stand for extended periods at a workstation
Frequent movement within the production floor
Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds
Capable of performing repetitive packing tasks
Continuous visual attention to detail required
Work environment may include non-climate-controlled areas and minor exposure to heat or dust
